How Can a Lump On The Upper Thigh Be Treated?

I have a bulge on my upper thigh towards the inside of my leg. It does not hurt but is clearly larger than my other thigh. I am a bit overweight so I chalked it up to that but I first notices it a year ago and now am beginning to worry that it may be something more. I am a 53 year old female. I just started a weight loss and workout wellness program and thought I should check this out. Again, its only on the right thigh and is clearly a bulge.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.

As per your description you might be having a clinical condition called lipoma. It is nothing but a benign(non cancerous) swelling.
Consult a general surgeon and get evaluated.
You don't need to worry regarding this as it is a harmless condition and highly effective treatment is available.
Thanks
Dr Shinas Hussain
